Each fruit requires a different method of preservation for maximum flavor.
The lemon storage technique may seem bizarre at first glance, but preserved in this way it will be fresh, juicy and without mold stains. So what do you think is the best way to do it?
At room temperature, in the refrigerator, with or without water?
And know that if you refrigerate your lemons in a bowl of water or in a large ziploc bag seal, they will stay fresh for up to three months!
All lemons stored at room temperature harden after one week.
Lemons placed in the fruit drawer of the fridge will begin to lose a small amount of moisture after the first week and lemons stored in ziploc bags with zipper, without water, will begin to dehydrate after four weeks.
Finally, the lemons placed in a bowl of water or in a ziploc with 1/4 cup of water will keep for 3 months!
If you buy a lemon and plan to use it within the next 2-3 days, place it on the counter for a short time, it will be even fresher than if you put it in a plastic bag.
