We do not always have the choice of the location of the device that gives access to the Internet to all our wireless devices, and when it is misplaced the wifi signal is not equal throughout the house.
There are electronic devices that amplify the signal, but they are expensive, while my trick will cost you nothing!
Cut out a carton a little wider than your router and wrap it entirely out of foil.
Put the cardboard behind the antenna of your router and that's it!
The aluminum "wall" will amplify the signal and you should win 2 reception bars on your devices!
This trick works with all wireless devices that need to connect to the Internet. If the reception is poor, add an aluminum panel behind the antenna of the unit.
Another similar solution is to cut a clean aluminum can and use it as an amplifier.
What I don't like about this trick is that the cut aluminum is extremely sharp and the risk of injury is greater than with a sheet of aluminum foil and cardboard.
