A house located in France
If you've ever watched the film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and wondered what it's like to stay in a house built entirely of chocolate,Booking.comhas perhaps found a way for you to realize your wildest dreams!
The travel website has announced this weekend that interested guests can book their stay in a full-size chocolate cottage located in L'Orangerie de la Manufacture in Sèvres, France, for a price of €50 per night, or about $76 per night.
According to the site,Booking.com,master chocolatier Jean-Luc Decluzeau designed and built the 18 square meter cottage with 1.5 tons of chocolate.
Take a look at the photos!
"I never thought I'd have the opportunity to build a life-size chocolate cottage so travelers could sleep there," said Decluzeau, master chocolatier, in a statement.
"I hope customers will enjoy the chance to experience such a sweet and unique place."
Everything is made of chocolate!
The walls, the roof, the fireplace, the dresser, the clock, the cups, the books, the chandelier, everything, everything, everything is made of chocolate!
The master chocolatier did not overlook any details, either. There is also plenty of chocolate to eat inside the property. We would not want people to eat the walls of the cottage after all!
The cottage comfortably sleeps up to four people. Due to the high level of interest in this property,Booking.comhas opened a small window of opportunity for people interested in renting the cottage either on October 5th or 6th. If you want to know more, visit the websiteBooking.com.
A once-in-a-lifetime experience?
What do you think of this concept? Pretty original, no? I know that the trip to France is not accessible to all but I found the idea very original and unique in itself.
Personally, I'd be afraid of not being able to control myself from taking a chomp out of the sink cabinet or any other object in the room, wouldn't you? This creation is really impressive; imagine all the hours of work it must have taken to make an entire cottage made out of chocolate!
