Here's why you should keep the onion peels every time you cook!

You surely do like most people: when you peel an onion, you throw the peel, but you should preserve the dry part carefully.

The dry part of the onion skin contains more antioxidants than the onion itself! The peel contains a pigment called quercetin .Which is known for its action anti-allergy And its positive effect in the Prevention of heart disease.

Of course you don't eat onion skin, it's like chewing paper! Then the most effective way to take advantage of it is to preparing a herbal tea: Fill a container with onion peel (you can add bits of onions as well) and pour about 2 cups of boiling water. Let macerate for 15 minutes, filter and drink this tea before going to bed.

If you do not like the taste, use the peels to prepare a vegetable broth, a soup, a stew, etc. All you have to do is remove the skins before serving!
