The toilet brush is obviously a really dirty object, full of bacteria and microbes: It is used to dislodge "things" stuck in the bowl and even if it is rinsed a before putting it back into its holder, it is far from clean. In fact, if you look at it with a microscope, you'd see disgusting stuff.
How to do regular maintenance of the toilet brush and kill all these microbes?
After washing the bowl, squeeze the brush between the bowl and the seat.
Spray disinfectant, eg rubbing alcohol, over the entire brush and let it act for 10 minutes.
Rinse the brush with very hot water and again stuck it between the bowl and the seat so that it dries out and dries completely.
If the holder has not been cleaned for a long time, spray it with rubbing alcohol, wait 15 minutes before rinsing with very hot water. Dry thoroughly before replacing the brush.
