Few ingredients, for a wet, tasty and delicious loaf!
- 1 pound of lean ground beef
- ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 4 tablespoons smoked barbecue sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and cover a baking tray with cooking foil.
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, panko bread crumbs, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, mustard, 3 tablespoons barbecue sauce, salt and pepper. Mix with your hands. Do not over mix.
Form a long, thick loaf and place it on the prepared baking tray.
In a small bowl, combine the remaining tablespoon of barbecue sauce, the other 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce and honey. Spread evenly over the meatloaf.
Cook in the oven for 45 minutes.
