When we install ceramic tiles, we are made to choose the color of the grout without ever telling us that with time, the joints blacken. Only washing the floor is not enough to prevent the pale joints from blackening: they should be rubbed from time to time with a stronger cleaning product.
So what should be used as a product so that the ceramic joints regain their original color without having to rub and rub again?
You will see the longest and most complicated in this trick is waiting for the product to do its job!
It's weird to say, but what works best is Toilet Cleaning Gel!
I don't know if it has to be that particular brand, but it was with this product that the test was done. Start by testing the product you already have at home on a small surface and if it works, that's good for you. Otherwise, you may need to buy some Clorox.
Pour on the joints and let the product act: if the joints are really very black and very dirty compared to their original color, leave the product on the joints overnight before wiping them with a cloth or sponge .
If the joints are not too black, wait only 1 hour before using a wet cloth.
You get better results by rubbing a little with a small brush on the joints before wiping with the cloth.
Once the joints have regained their original color, you will feel like you have a new floor! It is so beautiful now!
