Range hood's filters are clogged with grease. You clean them with hot water and soap but it's not enough?
Take out your biggest pan and fill it with water three quarters. Heat a few minutes to have a very hot water.
Before the water boils, pour 1 cup white vinegar in the pan.
Then add ½ cup baking soda and 3 tablespoons of Dawn blue dish soap.
Warning: pour the baking soda only one spoon at a time in the water because it bubbles and it could do a damage.
Stir with utensil to ensure that the bicarbonate has diluted completely in water.
Immerse your filters in boiling water. If your filters do not fit into the pan, use the sink or a large plastic tank.
After only a few minutes, the grease will be completely dissolved and your filters will look brandnew!
If there is any dirt left in some places, a brush will be enough to remove it.
Rinse the filters with water and let them drain and dry before replacing them.
