Try this tip and your onion rings will be even better than in a restaurant!

No fryer needed! They are cooked in the oven, for a result less greasy and so delicious!

Ingredients

  • 3 onions

  • 220 g flour

  • 80g of cornstarch

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • some paprika

  • 290 g cold water

  • salt, pepper

  • some sunflower oil

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 210 degrees C, or 410 degrees F and put baking paper on a bakign tray

  2. Peel and cut the onions in large slices and separate the slices.

  3. In a bowl, combine cornstarch, flour, salt, pepper and paprika.

  4. Gradually add water and stir to avoid lumps. Finally, add the baking powder.

  5. Dip the onion rings into the dough and spread them on a prepared plate.

  6. Brush each slices with sunflower oil and bake for 15 minutes.
