The refrigerator can quickly become a real mess! When you organize a dinner, it's even worse ... Did you know that your refrigerator does not refrigerate in the same way depending on the location?

Understand how your refrigerator works so you know where to place your food.

The top part is the coldest (between 1 and 3 °C) and you should store these foods there:

  • Fish
  • Raw meat
  • Cream
  • Prepared dishes
  • Cooked meats
  • Fragile cheeses (with raw milk for example)
  • Homemade juices (smoothies and jucies that you have made yourself)

The middle part is less cold (between 3 and 5 ° C) and you should store these foods:

  • Yogurt
  • Cheeses less fragile (pasteurized)
  • Milk
  • Eggs
  • Cooked vegetables
  • Spreads
  • Jams

The bottom part (the bins) is even less cold (between 8 and 10 °C) and you should store these foods there:

  • Fresh fruits
  • Fresh vegetables

The door is a temperate zone (between 6 and 8 °C) and you should store these foods there:

  • Juices
  • Marinades
  • Butter
  • Bottled sauces
  • Commercial juices
  • The liqueurs
  • Condiments
