My Keurig coffee maker has been flashing instead of doing a cup of coffee: I have to click on all the buttons to get it working.
I wanted to know what was happening and I found the problem: you have to wash the machine 4 times a year ... and I never did! Oops!
Have you ever really cleaned your Keurig coffee maker, I mean inside the machine?
If you notice flashing messages or if you coffee tastes different taste, it is probably because the machine is calcified.
Clean it and it will work again!
How to do?
Unplug the unit and remove all parts: tank, stand, K-cup receptacle, etc.
Wash anything you can with soap and water and rinse.
With a damp cloth, remove the coffee that has been accumulated in the coffee receptacle.
Then fill the tank halfway with white vinegar and add water to fill it completely.
Do not put coffee capsule (of course!), and pour "cups of vinegar" to empty the tank.
This time fill the tank only with water, and once again pour cups of warm water to thoroughly clean the ducts.
In a perfect world, this process should be done 4 times a year, so every 3 months. If you do it it's perfect! Otherwise, do it as soon as you think about it or notice a change in the taste of your coffee. I know what I'm going to do tonight ...;)
